The placement of the new auditorium produces a new central sq. inside the all round structure of the Plantahof agriculture school. The substantial fa?ade holds together the new piazza.

The inner space of the auditorium lies in fifty percent-mild. Two windows facing each other determine the inner area and allow for a view from the new piazza in the direction of the axis of the Pr?ttigau valley. A thin, darkish coloured, concrete wall stretches more than the pillars and beams like a tent. These elements are supported outdoors the building by the abutments. The composition brings together in equivalent measure a body and a solid development. The result is a hybrid of pillars and walls, expressing an architectural concept and lending the developing character.

The new auditorium is multifunctional and has a potential of a hundred thirty to 180 seats. In addition to its typical use, the new hall has the potential to host various kinds of functions these kinds of as seminars, congresses and panel discussions.
