The music?s playing and designers are swapping bosses and contracts. WWD is reporting that Hedi Slimane is set to replace Stefano Pilati at YSL. Stefano?s contract at YSL will expire next month and APP is reporting that the contract for Hedi Slimane?s new post has been signed by both parties.
If this is true, we can expect full women?s collections from Slimane; a task he?s not done before on a scale. I, for one, am excited to see how this plays out. Hedi Slimane?s talent is undeniable and would be put to good use at any label.
