Adding Baby Shower Games to the Day's Event Will Make Sure ...

Games in a baby shower can provide a lot of benefits. They serve as an icebreaker for the friends and families to loosen up and interact. Games will also be memorable if an embarrassing moment happens. Baby shower games also provide a chance to give away gifts and prizes.

There are a lot of baby shower games to choose from. Some games can be used in any party but there are also games that are specifically made for baby showers. When choosing the games, consider what type of guests you have. If the families are generally adventurous or outgoing, pick games that will engage them to stand up or run around. On the other hand, a quieter group will be happier with word or brain games.

A fun idea for a game is to play the ?Baby Pictures Game.? This requires the participation of all your guests. Before going to the shower, ask them to prepare a baby picture of themselves that they will bring to the party. Collect the pictures when they arrive and place them on a board so everyone can see. Everyone will get a chance to guess the babies in the pictures using a pen and paper. The person who guesses the most babies wins. This is a good chance for the guests to revisit their childhood and get to know more about each other.

The baby pictures game is only practical if the guests you are inviting are close and really up for bringing their own pictures. As an alternative, there is a simple game called ?Guess How Many Pacifiers.? It?s an easy activity that only needs a couple of pacifiers and a clear jar. Get as much pacifiers as you can, preferably more than 50, and place them all inside a jar. Have the guests guess the number of pacifiers by just looking through the clear gas and not taking anything out. It will be useful to have a lot of pacifiers so the guests will have a more difficult time guessing. This game has other variations aside from using pacifiers. The host puts bubble gum balls or paper clips for people to count.

Also, you and your guests can play the ?Baby Alphabet Game.? In this game, everyone gets a piece of paper and pen. In a span of 10 minutes, they must be able to think baby-related words matching each letter of the alphabet from A to Z. For instance, for the letter B, they?ll write baby or bottle. The person with the most words at the end of time is the winner.

At a baby shower, you can have at least 3 to 4 games. You want to be creative but at the same time practical. You don?t want to spend more than you should and the games should be applicable regardless of age or gender. As much as possible, you want everyone to have a good time celebrating the coming of a new baby. Think outside the box and you can come up with your own games as well.
